I have no problem with the stock size tire (265/65/r18). The reason I was asking about the difference is that Michelin ATX MS/2 tires didn't come in that size. Only the newer ATX MS tires came in 265/65R18. But, I would probably just go with the newer MS tires in the stock size as much for convenience as anything else.

Figure since I need new winter tires, now is the time to go bigger. Would the 265 be much worse in the snow than the 245? Most likely going with studded tires also.
